Morgan Stanley sold $15 billion in shares over a few days, avoiding significant losses, CNBC's Leslie Picker reported. Nomura ended Monday down 14%, while Credit Suisse slid 11.5% when the market closed. Calls to Credit Suisse and Nomura weren't returned. Morgan Stanley, Goldman and JPMorgan Chase are the biggest prime brokers in the world, according to sources who track the industry's revenue. Credit Suisse is ranked seventh, while Nomura is outside the top 10.

WADA would let Russian athletes compete only if not implicated in doping or cover-ups. WADA says details of doping tests and emails were deleted or changed, and false trails created to frame whistleblowers. The International Olympic Committee refused WADA’s request to ban Russia outright from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games. RUSADA rejected WADA’s proposed punishment, and Russian Olympic officials later fired the RUSADA chief executive who acknowledged the wrongdoing.
