McLaren Racing teams up with Duke of Edinburgh Award to drive youth success
The Earl and Countess of Wessex yesterday attended the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where the Duke of Edinburgh Award logo featured on McLaren Formula 1 cars for the first time. It is hoped that Bristol-born driver Lando Norris will help inspire young people to be the best they can be. Since his father’s death in April, Prince Edward, who is a trustee of the award scheme, has helped give the brand a push, taking an increasingly active role in raising awareness. Prince Philip transferred back to private hospital

The palace said the 99-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II underwent a successful procedure for a pre-existing heart condition at St Bartholomew’s Hospital on Wednesday. Philip was admitted to the private London hospital on Feb. 16, where he was treated for an infection.

Philip, whose 100th birthday is in June, married Elizabeth in 1947 at London's Westminster Abbey five years before she became queen.
