Tom Brady threw for 271 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers launch their bid for a return to the Super Bowl with a dominating 31-15 NFC wild-card playoff victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Washington beats the Eagles 20-14, captures NFC East title

Eagles beat Cowboys 23-9 in sloppy battle for first place

Carson Wentz threw a pair of touchdown passes to overcome four turnovers, Rodney McLeod returned a fumble 53 yards for a score and the Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-9 on Sunday night. โ€œA win is a win,โ€ Eagles coach Doug Pederson said. The Cowboys then had an excellent opportunity after Donovan Wilson strip-sacked Wentz and recovered at the Eagles 25. Dallas had a first down at the Eagles 4 before Brandon Graham stripped DiNucci on second down and recovered.

TAKE IT AWAYThe Eagles got their first defensive takeaway of the season thanks to a poor decision by Mullens. With the Niners in the red zone, Mullens threw a ball up for grabs while under pressure and Rodney McLeod came up with it. INJURY REPORTEagles: RT Lane Johnson left the game in the first half with an ankle injury but later returned. 49ers: DL Ezekiel Ansah left the game in the first half with an arm injury and didnโ€™t return.

Goff tosses 3 TD passes to Higbee, Rams beat Eagles 37-19

Goff threw three touchdown passes to Tyler Higbee and the Los Angeles Rams beat the Philadelphia Eagles 37-19 on Sunday. After the Eagles (0-2) pulled within one score, Goffโ€™s 28-yard TD pass to Higbee in the fourth iced it for Los Angeles (2-0). In their only other head-to-head meeting in Los Angeles in December 2017, Wentz tore two knee ligaments. McVay outcoached defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz early as Los Angeles scored TDs on its first three possessions. โ€œWeโ€™re just trying to marry the run and the pass,โ€ Higbee said.
