Cindric makes his Cup Series debut Sunday in the Daytona 500. āWhat a way to start the season,ā Cindric said. Cindric won the Xfinity Series debut on Daytonaās road course last August as well as a rallycross event early in his career. The 22-year-old has this final season in Xfinity before moving next year to Cup to drive for Penske-supported Wood Brothers Racing.

He was the leader on the final lap of the second Duel until Dillon crossed to Wallaceās inside and inched ahead. āWeāve got an incredible race car and I canāt wait for the Daytona 500.ā

Leavine is the second team owner to close its doors after aligning with Joe Gibbs Racing. We will say goodbye at the conclusion of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season, Leavine said. Leavine Family Racing has competed in NASCAR since 2011, making its debut with David Starr at Texas Motor Speedway. Leavine Family Racing is winless in 240 Cup starts.
