Bozak caps rally with OT goal, Blues beat Avs 5-4 in Game 5
Tyler Bozak and the St. Louis Blues experienced just about every emotion imaginable over the course of a win-or-season-ends game in which they fell behind by three goals. Bozak scored 3:38 into overtime and the Blues fended off elimination in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals, overcoming a pair of deficits in a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night. Bozak, a fourth-line center, unleashed a shot from near the blueline that got past Darcy Kuemper, capping a remarkable comeback for St. Louis.

Thanks to an impressive performance in net from goaltender Ville Husso and two goals from forward Nathan Walker, San Antonio topped the Chicago Wolves 3-0, improving to 3-0 on the young season. San Antonio ended the period by killing off a 5-on-3 Wolves power play to head into the first intermission up 1-0. Derrick Pouliot added his first goal of the season in the second period, also on the power play. The Rampage will return to action in the AT&T Center on Saturday night for their second straight game against the Wolves.

If their first game is any indication, San Antonio fans will be in for a treat. Center Mike Vecchione and left winger Nathan Walker each tallied goals, while Ville Husso notched 22 saves, as the Rampage Antonio won their season opener 2-1 over the Manitoba Moose. This is the third straight season that San Antonio has opened their season with a home victory. Walker doubled the Rampage's lead in the second period with a well-placed wrister on a breakaway.
