Wild animals roam SeaWorld San Antonio as part of parkโs โWild Daysโ celebration
SAN ANTONIO โ SeaWorld San Antonio promises a 2021 full of wild fun, starting with weekends open throughout the entire year. In addition to roller coasters and experiences with marine mammals, visitors will also have the chance to learn about wild animals rescued by SeaWorld through the parkโs โWild Days Celebration.โThe Wild Days Celebration kicks off Jan. 9 and continues through the last day of the month. Chuck Cureau, a spokesperson for SeaWorld San Antonio, said the celebration is meant to engage the public on the parksโ mission to protect animals. โItโs part of our mission to protect animals and to act on behalf of those animals,โ Cureau said. SAN ANTONIO โ If youโve visited SeaWorld or seen penguins on tv or in person, youโve probably seen them sneeze and not even realized it. Penguins are typically characterized as cute, tuxedo-wearing birds who canโt fly but their sneezes arenโt as adorable as one might think. SeaWorld San Antonio sent KSAT a video of several resident Gentoo and chinstrap penguins sneezing prompted by a visitor who asked if the birds sneeze.
