Man Found Dead in San Pedro Creek as Storms Slam San Antonio

San Antonio firefighters pulled a man's body from San Pedro Creek Friday morning after heavy thunderstorms and flash flooding hit the area. First responders were called out just before 9:30 a.m. near Furnish Avenue and South San Marcos, where crews spotted the male in the water and launched a high-water rescue but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
