From 2013 to 2026 — El Charro de Oro, Sebastian De La Cruz, is back at center court where it all started. The mariachi singer who captured the nation's heart (and faced ugly racial backlash) during the NBA Finals returned to sing the national anthem for the San Antonio Spurs' 2026 playoff opener — and this time, he came with a message stitched right into his bow tie.
