SWAT Opens Fire After Suspect Shoots at Officers

A wanted man is dead after opening fire on SWAT officers who were trying to arrest him on San Antonio's south side. KSAT's Madalyn Lambert has the details — investigators say undercover detectives tracked the 30-year-old suspect, wanted on multiple felony warrants, to an apartment complex near Southwest Military Drive. When officers deployed a flashbang to take him into custody, he ran — and then turned and fired. Two 14-year SWAT veterans returned fire, killing the suspect at the scene. No officers were hurt.
