Man confesses to murder over a week later — body was hidden in a recycle bin

A San Antonio man called police — but not to report a crime. To confess to one. Aquiminee Crawford, 26, told officers he shot his uncle Derrick Crawford five times in the head and chest inside their Sterling Street home. The catch? He made that call more than a week after the killing. KSAT's Katrina Weber dug into the police report and uncovered chilling details: Crawford told detectives his uncle "triggered him" by calling him a degrading name, causing him to "black out." Officers found Derrick's body exactly where the suspect said it would be — wrapped in black trash bags and shoved into a backyard recycle bin.
