What's really happening when school police show up in Texas classrooms

Since Uvalde, Texas spent billions putting police officers on every school campus — but a bombshell investigation reveals a dark side to that plan. Kids as young as 6 are being handcuffed, teenagers are being tased and body-slammed, and in many cases? It started over something like a dress code violation or a cheese stick. Reporters Clare Amari, Kristian Hernández, and Asher Lehrer-Small with the New York Times dug through more than 2,600 use-of-force incidents across Texas schools — and what they found will stop you in your tracks.
