Suspect Opens Fire on San Antonio Officers Serving a Warrant

A San Antonio police officer is recovering after a suspect opened fire during a warrant operation near the Santa Fe Apartment Complex, just north of San Antonio International Airport. Chief McManus says officers were there to arrest a man for possessing prohibited weapons when the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot one of them — four officers then returned fire, hitting the suspect.
