This women's shelter is falling apart — and they need your help

The Kendall County Women's Shelter is in desperate need of repairs — and the list just keeps growing. From a raccoon that broke in and damaged the AC, to a flooded basement after last week's storms, the 7,000-square-foot facility is constantly at capacity, serving 36 people every single day. New executive director Allison Peterson says the shelter runs on tight margins, relying heavily on their thrift store to keep the lights on.
