Deadly hit-and-run worries Seniors on West Side

A 71-year-old woman is dead after a hit-and-run on San Antonio's west side — struck by a car just steps from her own front door. Yolanda Cano was walking along El Paso Street Sunday night when a driver hit her and didn't stop. Police say no witnesses saw it happen. The neighbors who live alongside Cano at a senior apartment complex say this is the fear they live with every day — that the speeding cars outside their gates are more dangerous than anything else in the neighborhood.
