National Weather Service confirms to additional tornadoes in Bexar County from mid-July
Meteorologist Sarah Spivey explains that The National Weather Service confirmed two additional weak EF0 tornadoes in Bexar County following the July 15, 2026 storms, increasing the total to three for that day. The newly identified tornadoes, in Dignowity Hill and east Bexar County, caused minimal damage, mainly to a tin roof, a brick façade, and a fence. The strongest tornado, an EF1, struck the Northwest side, damaging an apartment complex and businesses at The Rim. An EF1 tornado was also confirmed in Uvalde County, resulting in snapped power poles and tree damage.
