Your kid's school may have just lost free lunch — here's what to do

Federal changes to SNAP benefits are rippling into San Antonio school cafeterias — and if your child's school lost its free meal status, you still have options. At least 30 campuses at Northeast ISD alone are no longer covered under the Community Eligibility Provision, a program that automatically provided free meals to thousands of students.
