This San Antonio Church is building beds-- one family at a time

A San Antonio ministry is making sure every child has a safe place to sleep. The Child of God Bed Ministry, partnering with Woodland Church, has handbuilt and delivered over 600 beds to more than 250 Bexar County families since 2021 — most going to the east side, in Districts 2 and 3. They serve families connected to CPS and domestic violence shelters, and the goal is simple: keep kids home, safe, and rested. KSAT's Patty Santos brings us this heartwarming story — and a call to action. The ministry needs volunteers with trucks, strong backs, and carpentry skills to keep up with the growing need.
