Thieves Stole Training Guns, So Cops Trained With Finger Guns

A San Antonio tactical training facility opened this year with one goal: put officers through active shooter and close quarters scenarios so the real thing isn't their first time. Then, just before SWAT sessions were set to begin, someone broke in and walked off with four training rifles and seven training pistols. Officers showed up anyway and ran drills with their hands, literally pointing finger guns through doorways. The owner says the gear is expensive and hard to replace; he's paid out of pocket for some of it, and out-of-town officers who've trained there have offered to help. His bigger worry is who really loses when the reps don't happen.
