Rats in the Science Room at Roosevelt High

A teacher at Roosevelt High School says rats have been running through the science building for years, drawn in by the animals kept for dissections. She says droppings are showing up on desks, chairs and classroom floors, and that staff have gotten so fed up they started trapping the rodents themselves, even after the district told them not to. KSAT's Olivia Dague spoke with teachers about how long this has been going on, and got a response from North East ISD about what's being done.
