TEXAS EATS

Former Holy Smoke BBQ pitmaster makes big comeback at family-owned joint in Pleasanton

If you’re a Texas BBQ fanatic - like myself - you will fall in love with Texas Prime BBQ. Small, unassuming storefront? Check. The smell of post oak and seasoned meats in the air? Check. Small-town family with tons of heart? Check. Most importantly - knock-your-socks-off barbecue, sides, and desserts? Check, check, and check. This place has it all and more. I want to keep this place all to myself, but pitmaster David Romero and his family deserve the attention - and y’all deserve some outstanding barbecue.
