Jurors have reached an agreement on punishment for Frances Hall, KSAT 12 News reporter Paul Venema reports.

We'll have an update soon on the jury's decision.

Original Story:

Jurors on Tuesday morning began deliberating the fate of a woman found guilty of running down her husband while he was riding a motorcycle.

The jury went behind closed doors around 11 a.m. to determine punishment for Frances Hall, who was convicted Friday of murder in the October 2013 death of her estranged husband, trucking company owner Bill Hall.

Frances Hall could face a maximum punishment of life in prison, but she is eligible for probation.

The defendant on Monday pleaded the jury for mercy and probation.

"Show mercy," Hall said while sobbing on the witness stand. "I did not hurt my husband."

Prosecutors said that Hall forced her husband off the road with her SUV. The defendant said that she was chasing her husband and his mistress, who was following him in another vehicle.

Hall testified that she wanted to confront the mistress.

KSAT 12 News reporter Paul Venema is in the courtroom, and will let us know when and what decision jurors reach.
