2 men point guns at 2 women in Ingram Park Mall parking lot, SAPD says

Men told women, 'We're going to kill you,' police spokesman says

SAN ANTONIO – Two men pointed guns at two women in the Ingram Park Mall parking lot Tuesday morning and told them, "We're going to kill you," before the women ran into the mall and called 911, police said.

The women were not hurt in the incident, which was reported at 11:30 a.m., San Antonio police spokesman Sgt. Jesse Salame said.

The men, who Salame said wore black bandanas over their face, didn't make any demands from the women, Salame said.

They got away in a green SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe, Salame said.

Witnesses reported hearing two to three gunshots after the women ran away, but it wasn't clear in what direction the gunshots were fired, Salame said.

The incident happened two days after a botched robbery ended in a shooting at Rolling Oaks Mall that left a good Samaritan dead and several people injured.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
