SAN ANTONIO – Two unrelated road rage incidents Sunday left one man dead, another injured.
San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate a deadly shooting off Southwest Loop 410 and Ray Ellison Boulevard. Chris Gomez, 54, is in custody and charged with murder for the death of a 40-year-old unidentified man. The incident happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
About six hours later, Bexar County Sheriff's Office responded to a stabbing at an apartment complex on the 20000 block of Liedecke Road in far south Bexar County. Deputies learned a husband and wife were pulling into a gate when they were cut off by the driver of a silver Ford Mustang. The wife told deputies two men and a woman exited the Mustang and began slapping and punching her husband before one of the men stabbed her husband in the stomach. Two suspects fled the Mustang, while two others ran into the apartment complex.
The unidentified victim was transported to University Hospital where his condition is unknown.
