Woman hospitalized after driving into pole, trees

Victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition

SAN ANTONIO – A woman is in the hospital Friday morning after losing control of her vehicle and hitting a light pole, authorities said.

The accident happened around 1 a.m. on westbound Camp Bullis Road on the city's far North side.

Officials said the woman was driving at a high rate of speed when she first hit the light pole before veering off the road and into some trees.

The woman is presently in stable condition and was taken to University Hospital with injures that included cuts to her face.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
