FORECAST:
Good afternoon! We're off to another sticky, warm day. While added clouds should keep us from reaching the 90s like yesterday, it'll still be rather uncomfortable (upper-80s). It'll be hazy, too, as smoke continues to feed into the area from agricultural fires in Mexico and Central America. Air quality, however, remains at moderate levels (what we typically see this time of year). A stray storm will be possible, mainly along the Rio Grande.
Tonight, clouds, fog, and drizzle will develop, possibly making for a damp Wednesday morning.
Wednesday begins with overcast skies. Passing light showers will be possible during the first half of the day, before a few storms take shape during the afternoon. Not everyone will see rainfall, but any storm that develops in the afternoon could be become strong to severe. Hail and gusty winds would be the main threats, especially in the Hill Country. Storm chances on Wednesday and Wednesday night sit at 40%.
Thursday morning likely sees some lingering showers or storms, with slightly lower rain chances on Thursday afternoon. We'll stay warm and humid.
Isolated to scattered storm chances continue on Friday, before a quieter scenario takes over this weekend.
Have a great day!
