The teachers' names have not been released.

According to Comal Independent School District officials, other adults saw a female teacher and two male teachers in possession and under the influence of alcohol before and during the April 29 dance. The other adults then notified the school administration.

One of the teachers resigned Friday, the other two on Monday -- all before the investigation into the possible unprofessional conduct was complete.

District officials said the three teachers did not receive a severance package or a buyout of their contract.

In addition, a district representative said the resignation of the assistant principal, which happened around the same time, had nothing to do with the investigation, but rather, personal reasons.
