SAN ANTONIO – Tim Duncan's box score line for Sunday's game had an unusual reason why the future Hall of Famer didn't suit up against the Sixers. The stat sheet simply stated: "DND-OLD."
Coach Gregg Popovich rested Duncan because the Spurs played their third game in three days. Coach Pop also managed to get in a little dig while at it.
Duncan turns 36 this month. Deadspin.com reports Pop has joked around like this before. Robert Horry got a "DNP-Old Age" back in 2007.
