Former Air Force military training instructor found guilty

Julio Morales sentenced to 90 days confinement, 30 days hard labor

SAN ANTONIO – A former Air Force military training instructor at JBSA-Lackland was found guilty Tuesday at a court-martial.

Tech. Sgt. Julio D. Morales was convicted of a wrongful personal and sexual relationship with a female trainee. Morales was also found guilty on one charge of adultery.

A military judge sentenced Morales to 90 days confinement and hard labor without confinement for 30 days. Morales' rank was reduced to E-4 (Senior Airman)and he was ordered to forfeit $1,200 in pay.

The court-martial is the 20th conducted against military training instructors on JBSA-Lackland.
