SAPD: Man broke into neighbor's home, left keys behind

Rogelio Cordova, 20, arrested on burglary charge

SAN ANTONIO – A Northeast Side man is accused of breaking into his neighbor's home and stealing an expensive electronic gaming system.

Rogelio Cordova, 20, was arrested Tuesday on burglary charge.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim found some keys inside his home just after the burglary in August.

Police said the victim also realized something was strange when he noticed that Cordova hadn't moved his car for weeks after the burglary.

According to the affidavit, the victim had his Playstation 3 stolen and soon after that, the game system was used to access his Netflix account. Detectives then linked the user to Cordova.

Another red flag came when police handed over the recovered car keys to Cordova and he was able to use them to start his car.

Police obtained a search warrant and found some of the victim's stolen property inside Cordova's home.
