Goodwill rolls out pickup service

SAN ANTONIO – Goodwill Industries of San Antonio has launched a home and office pickup service in Bexar County. 

Donors can request to have their donations of large amounts of gently used clothing, household items and furniture for a scheduled pickup day by filling out a form online. You can also call 210-271-8881 to arrange a pickup date.

Once you call or go online, a Goodwill team member will respond within 24 hours during normal business hours to confirm the pickup.

For every dollar raised through Goodwill donations, nearly 90 cents is used to fund training and employment programs.

"The donations help fund job-related programs and services," said Goodwill President and CEO Marla Jackson. "Goodwill's employment, training and educational opportunities help thousands of people each year."
