Love's Truck Stop robbery suspect identified Hernan Jonathan Olveda-Reyes, 26, charged with robbery and evading arrest No description found
SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Thursday accused of trying to run over a security guard at a Southwest Bexar County truck stop.
Hernan Jonathan Olveda-Reyes, 26, has been charged with robbery and evading arrest.
Just before 5:30 p.m. a security guard at Love’s Truck Stop, located off I-35 and Fischer Road, fired a shot at a man who tried to run the security guard over. The guard was trying to stop the man after the man carried out a beer run.
BCSO spokesman James Keith said deputies found the suspect around 6 p.m. driving near Highway 16 and Loop 1604.
Following a short pursuit, Olveda-Reyes crashed the vehicle he was driving into another vehicle at Loop 410 and Somerset, then ran away Keith said.
Deputies arrested Olveda-Reyes a short time later.
