Man robs Dollar General with Easter basket in hand Police report says man apologized before robbing store No description found
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are hoping the public can identify a man caught on camera robbing a Dollar General store with an Easter basket in hand.
Police said the robbery happened about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at a Dollar General on Goliad Road.
According to a police report, the man walked up to the register carrying a pink Easter basket with some merchandise inside. The report said the man apologized to the employee before displaying a handgun in his waistband and demanding cash.
The report said the man never pulled the gun, but the employee gave him the money out of fear for her life.
Anyone with information on the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. A reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
