SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man who claimed that he thought his wife was an intruder when he shot and killed her last year has been indicted.

The Bexar County District Attorney's Office said Lars Itzo, 48, was indicted Thursday on two counts -- one for murder and one for manslaughter.

Police said he shot and killed his wife Debora Kelly, 48, on Oct. 10 at their far North Side home on Bent Hollow.

Itzo is awaiting trial in the 187th District Court. If convicted, he could face up to 99 years in prison for the murder charge and up to 20 years for the manslaughter charge.
