Naked woman dances on top of 18-wheeler in Houston traffic

HOUSTON – A woman took off her clothes and climbed on top of an 18-wheeler Monday morning after a crash on a major Houston highway.

Deputies were called to Highway 290 near Huffmeister Road just before 9 a.m. for reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.

KSAT sister station KPRC in Houston tweeted video of officials trying to get the woman down.

When deputies arrived, a woman was undressing and could be seen on traffic cameras dancing on top of a big rig.

It is unknown why the woman climbed on the truck.

KPRC reporter Jace Larson tweeted photos of the woman on top of the truck. The photos show a fire truck pulled up to the front of the semi and officials talking to the woman.

KPRC's Sara Donchey said on Twitter that traffic backed up as negotiators tried to talk the woman down.

KRPC said the woman was finally taken into custody around 11 a.m. Monday, about two hours after deputies responded to the scene.
