3 injured in 2-alarm apartment fire
Fire happened at City-Base Vista Apartments on Goliad Road
SAN ANTONIO – Three people, including an infant, were injured in a two-alarm fire early Sunday on the city's Southeast Side.
The victims were treated for burns, but the extent of their injuries wasn't immediately known.
Fire officials said the City-Base Vista Apartments were fully engulfed in flames when they arrived in the 2500 block of Goliad Road around 2 a.m.
The building was considered a total loss, fire officials said.
Residents from surrounding apartments were evacuated.
There was no word on a cause.
About 31 fire units responded to the blaze.
