Truck carrying suspected undocumented immigrants crashes in Devine

Seven immigrants captured, Medina County sheriff says

DEVINE, Texas – A truck carrying suspected undocumented immigrants led law enforcement on a chase on Thursday and crashed in Devine, Medina County Sheriff Randy Brown said.

Seven immigrants were captured after a foot chase and two remained on the run, Brown said.

The crash was reported around 10:15 a.m. on Windy Knoll in Devine.

There was no immediate word on the status of the driver.
