BASTROP, Texas – The Sheriff’s Office in Bastrop has released the names of the three adults killed in a shooting Saturday evening.
Alejandro Martinez, 20, Erica Rodriguez, 21, and Paula Nino, 20, and a 3-year-old boy were shot and killed Saturday at an apartment in the small town. The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting took place about 6 p.m. at the Arbors at Bastrop Apartments in the 200 block of Childers Drive.
Another child was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The BSCO said one of the deceased was the shooter.
As the investigation continues, the sheriff said his office is being assisted by Bastrop police and the Texas Rangers.
