SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman accused of buying ammunition, magazines and tactical gear for her son, who had expressed a desire to carry out “mass acts of violence” at a SAISD school last year, has had her charge dismissed, Bexar County court records show.
Ashley Pardo, 34, was originally arrested on charges of aiding in the commission of terrorism in May 2025, according to court records.

According to authorities, she allegedly bought the items “with knowledge” that they would be “used to plan and carry out” a crime.
Now, court records show her charge was dropped due to “insufficient evidence.”
Although she’s no longer accused in that incident, Pardo still faces a separate, unrelated charge of abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence, according to records.
Pardo, who was arrested in August 2025, allegedly pointed a shotgun at the head of an infant, who at the time was estimated to be 11 months old, according to an affidavit.
The warrant said Pardo allegedly took a photo of the gesture and sent it to the infant’s biological father, telling him that the infant was being a “brat.”
According to records, Pardo has not been indicted for the incident.
