SAN ANTONIO – A confrontation in a Northwest side apartment complex parking lot ended in a deadly shooting. Twenty years later, San Antonio police are still looking for that gunman.
On Sep 29, 1996, Javed Khan returned to his apartment on the 5300 block of Northwest Loop 410 just before 11 p.m.

Police said he parked his car in his assigned parking spot, where he was confronted by someone.
"At some point during this encounter, the complainant was shot once in the head," police said.
Khan's body was later found by a security guard doing her rounds.
