Professional photographer arrested on child pornography charges

Federal complaint says photographer downloaded child porn to hard drive

SAN ANTONIO – A professional photographer from San Antonio was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of receipt of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

A federal complaint said 46-year-old Christopher Alexander Reilly downloaded child pornography from the internet onto a hard drive last month.

A data recovery firm reported to the FBI that it discovered the videos on one of two hard drives submitted for recovery by the defendant.

Federal agents seized both computer hard drives and executed a search of Reilly’s home. They seized his cellphone, an assortment of photography equipment, computers and storage devices.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said it hasn’t identified any of the suspect’s clients or subjects of his photography in the child porn images. However, the investigation is still ongoing.

If found guilty, Reilly faces five to 20 years in federal prison.
