Man killed in Chick-fil-A parking lot identified

SAN ANTONIO – The name of a man who was fatally wounded in a Chick-fil-A parking lot on the city's North Side was released Monday.

The victim was identified as Mark Saldivar, 23.

Police said Saldivar was riding in a car with three men and a woman Sunday when a fight broke out inside the vehicle.

Saldivar got out of the car and held on to the moving vehicle before he tried to kick in the windshield, police said.

He was then shot in the parking lot of the restaurant at the intersection of Loop 410 and McCullough.

No arrests have been made.
