SAPD releases new video of suspect vehicle in shooting at Taco Bell drive-thru

Incident occurred Aug. 22 around 12:30 a.m. in 11200 block of Potranco Road

San Antonio police released an image of the suspect vehicle involved in a shooting outside a far west side Taco Bell on August 22nd at approximately 12:30 a.m. (SAPD)

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department has released a new video of a vehicle involved in a shooting at a Taco Bell drive-thru with the hope that someone will come forward and identify the suspect.

The incident occurred on Aug. 22 at about 12:30 a.m. in the 11200 block of Potranco Road.

According to police, the suspect pulled up to the victim’s vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the car. Police said the driver was struck twice by the gunfire, while the passenger was not injured.

After the shooting, the two vehicles collided and police say the suspect’s vehicle should have damage to the left front quarter.

Anyone with any knowledge of the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
