SAN ANTONIO – Investigators from the Bexar County District Attorney's Office will team up with Bexar County sheriff's deputies Tuesday to track down people with outstanding warrants for writing hot checks.
The two teams will begin knocking doors at 5 a.m. Tuesday at homes and businesses of people with warrants for writing checks that bounce due to insufficient funds.

Authorities are encouraging anyone who has written a bad check to pay it as soon as possible.
