Woman arrested in alleged love-triangle slaying at Southwest Side home, police say

Shooting victim went to home to confront woman before shots fired, police say

SAN ANTONIO – A suspect was arrested Tuesday after San Antonio police say she fatally shot a woman romantically linked to a man she was dating.

Priscilla Caballero, 35, faces a murder charge following the incident that occurred around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 150 block of Seashell Drive, not far from Five Palms Drive and West Military Drive, according to SAPD.

According to police, officers arrived to find the victim, a woman in her 30s, with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said it appears Caballero and the victim were both “romantically involved” with the same man, who also lived at the home.

The victim went to the home to confront Caballero, police said. At some point during the confrontation, Caballero fired one shot at the woman, according to SAPD.

Caballero fled in a gray BMW vehicle but was later located by officers, investigators said.

The shooting victim has not been identified by authorities.

SAPD said two men were also in the house at the time of the altercation.
