A news release states it consists of a crispy breaded chicken strip and spicy honey butter on a flaky biscuit.

“Adding a little spice to our famous honey butter balances the sweetness and creates an exciting new flavor,” said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “Our late night and breakfast customers are in for a treat.”

The Spicy HBCB is offered during breakfast hours from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.

Whataburger said it is also offering a Southern Bacon Double Burger and a Southern Bacon Chicken Sandwich.

They are available now for a limited time while supplies last, according to a news release. The prices of the new menu items vary by market.

The fan-favorites Dr Pepper Shake will also stick around for an extended time.
