Teen injured after man shoots into Southeast Side home, SAPD says

Person who shot into home fled on foot

SAN ANTONIO – A 17-year-old boy was injured after a person fired multiple times into a Southeast Side home, according to San Antonio police.

Officers were called to the home in the 100 block of Julia Helen just before 2:00 a.m.

An unidentified person walked up to the home and began firing into it before fleeing in a vehicle, police said.

The bullet grazed the teen’s head. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to an SAPD preliminary report.

Other members of the family inside the home were not injured.

SAPD said its investigation was ongoing.
