While the other drivers remained with Kim, Armstrong got back inside the pickup and drove away. Armstrong said he knew he should have stayed, but left because he panicked and was scared, the affidavit states.

Curtis Perry, 39, was last seen July 29 near the 9400 block of South Foster Road, investigators said. According to the sheriff, Perry was possibly lured to the Foster area to be robbed by the suspects. Salazar said around that time, investigators believe the suspects in Perryโs case were also involved in a crime spree in the area and surrounding counties. A reward of as much as $5,000 is still being offered in the case, Salazar said.

Southeast Side family without a home following fire, officials say
SAN ANTONIO One family on the far Southeast Side is now without a place to call home after their residence was destroyed in a fire, according to the Bexar County Emergency Services District. The fire happened around 8 p.m. Sunday and fully engulfed a mobile home on Palm Park Boulevard and Aleta, just off of Highway 281. Fire officials said both the mobile home and another residence nearby were damaged in the fire; however, the mobile home was deemed a total loss. The other residence that was involved in the fire was not deemed a total loss. Multiple agencies responded to the scene with four fire engines, two tankers and various command vehicles from different departments.

SAN ANTONIO - A local man was grazed in the head by a bullet during an apparent drug deal overnight, San Antonio police said Monday. According to police, the victim, and a group of men were attempting to purchase marijuana when the drug deal took a violent turn. Police said a man fired upon the group, just before running off. Authorities said the 24-year-old victim was grazed by a bullet and was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

SAN ANTONIO - Two local food mart employees were shot during an attempted robbery on the city's Southeast Side late Thursday night, San Antonio police said. Officers were called just after 10 p.m. to the A-Z Food Mart in the 4000 block of East Southcross after receiving reports of a shooting. According to police, a man entered the store with a handgun demanding money but the two store clerks refused. Police said the culprit fled on foot firing his gun, shooting a 32-year-old woman in the leg and a 36-year-old man in the backside. The wounded clerks were taken by EMS to Brooke Army Medical Center for their injuries.
One arrested after police raid Southeast Side home
SAN ANTONIO - A high-risk narcotics search warrant conducted on the Southeast Side of town resulted in one man being arrested and one dog fatally shot by police. "Our narcotics unit partnered with SWAT to execute this high-risk search warrant," said Alisia Pruneda, PIO with SAPD. Pruneda said during the warrant execution, they had an obstacle in their way that they are all too familiar with, an aggressive dog. "What we know in our experience, and in our training, drug dealers do use large aggressive animals to impede or present obstacles for us to either make arrests or make locations." As they made entry in the gate, they made contact with a very large aggressive dog.

Three in custody following DPS chase on SE Side
SAN ANTONIO - Three people were taken into custody Sunday afternoon after a car involved in a chase with Texas Department of Public Safety troopers crashed through a fence on the Southeast Side. The suspects, two men and one woman, all appeared to be in their 20s. The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics. None of the suspects appeared to suffer serious injuries. There is no word from DPS officials on what charges the suspects will face.

SAN ANTONIO - An argument between two couples led to a shot being fired at one of the couple outside a Southeast Side shopping center, according to the San Antonio Police Department. Around 11:34 a.m. Wednesday, officers with the Police Department went to the shopping center in the 3100 block of SE Military Drive in response to the shooting. While at the scene, San Antonio police later learned that one of the two couples had threatened the other before driving off in their vehicle and firing a shot at them. No one was injured in the incident but a vehicle did have a bullet hole, according to police. San Antonio police said officers are working to gather more information and searching the area to find the people responsible for the shooting.
Good Samaritans met with threats while trying to help truck driver involved in crash
SAN ANTONIO - Drivers who pulled over to help after a semitruck struck a guardrail on the Southeast Side were met with threats from the driver, police said. Witnesses told police the driver of the truck claimed to have a gun and threatened to shoot. An officer tried to get to the driver, but the driver put the truck in gear and tried to get away. An officer used a stun gun on the driver. They said the driver is facing a charge for resisting arrest but more charges could be added.
SAPD: Driver charged with intoxicated manslaughter after wrong-way fatal crash
SAN ANTONIO - A driver is charged with intoxicated manslaughter after a fatal wrong-way crash happened early Saturday morning on San Antonio's Southeast Side. Police were called to the 9400 block of Southeast Loop 410 shortly before 5 a.m. to respond to the crash, according to information provided by the San Antonio Police Department. The suspected drunken driver was traveling the wrong way in a black Dodge Ram pickup before coliding with a Chevrolet S-10 pickup, police said. The other driver was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the Ram, who has not yet been identified, will be charged with intoxicated manslaughter and taken to Bexar County Jail after being released from the hospital.
