GRANBY, Colo. (AP) – UPDATE (SATURDAY AFTERNOON): The Grand County Coroner's Office said 40-year-old Kelly Huber died from a traumatic rupture of her aorta and blunt force trauma to her torso after falling from a chairlift at the Granby Ranch Ski Resort on Thursday morning.
UPDATE (FRIDAY NIGHT): Granby police identified the San Antonio woman who was killed after falling from a chairlift at a ski-resort as 40-year-old Kelly Huber. Huber's 12-year-old daughter was treated and released from the hospital. Her 9-year-old, who was airlifted to a children's hospital in Aurora, Colorado, is now in stable condition.

ORIGINAL STORY: A San Antonio woman is dead and two children are injured after falling from a chairlift at a small Colorado ski area.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office confirmed the victim was from the Alamo City.
Police said the three people fell from a lift Thursday at Ski Granby Ranch. One of the children was hospitalized in stable condition and the other was flown to Children's Hospital in suburban Denver for treatment, according to police.
Granby Assistant police Chief Schelly Olson said ski resort officials reported they fell about 25 feet onto snow. She said state regulators who oversee chairlifts are helping to investigate.
The ski area about 90 miles west of Denver promotes itself as a family-friendly resort without the hassles of larger, more famous ski resorts.
The death comes during one of the busiest weeks of the season for ski resorts in Colorado.
