Countdown begins for city's Tricentennial celebration

SA 300 getting ready for 2018

SAN ANTONIO – We are officially a year a way from San Antonio’s big Tricentennial celebration, and 2018 will be a year filled with many events paying tribute to the Alamo City’s history.

Not only will the city’s rich history be commemorated, but sister cities will be included in the festivities.

San Antonio has nine sister cities around the world. See the map below to see where they're located.

The public can also get involved by becoming a partner or volunteer. The deadline to apply to become a partner ends March 1. If you want to volunteer, visit the SA 300 website and complete the form to apply.

Throughout 2017, you can follow along on other events leading up to the big New Year’s Eve celebration that kicks off the Tricentennial campaign. SA 300 can be found on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
