New Braunfels’ Cat Osterman departs for third Olympic games with USA Softball
NEW BRAUNFELS – Two-time Olympic medalist Cat Osterman left New Braunfels on Friday ready to represent Team USA in the Tokyo games. Osterman won gold in Athens and silver in Beijing pitching for the United States, and she returns at age 38, the oldest player ever to play for Team USA. Her neighbors gave her a proper send-off, lining the streets with signs of support.
